Smart Contract Developer
Writes the on-chain programs that hold funds and enforce rules, from token contracts to lending markets and DAOs.

Your training could be

- Design and write contracts, usually in Solidity
- Write tests that try to break your own code
- Deploy to testnets, then mainnet, and monitor what happens
- Solving logic puzzles and edge cases

Start with Blockchain Basics so you know what your code runs on, then the DeFi and Governance tracks to use the kinds of protocol you would be building before you write one.
Mostly remote and global, hired by protocols, infrastructure teams and audit firms.
For most of these roles, one of the best ways in is to get involved with a local blockchain group or a university blockchain club. Meetups, hackathons and club projects are where many people meet their first employer or collaborator.
